You'll perform a wide range of administrative tasks at the front desk of a dynamic therapy office, and above all, you'll help create a great first impression and overall patient experience by demonstrating empathy and enthusiasm.
This is a full-time position.

oHigh School diploma or GED requiredoPrevious customer service experience within the last two years requiredoProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel) requiredoStrong time-management and organizational skillsoSuperior written and verbal communication skillsoHigh level of personal integrity, reliability, and honestyoAbility to work effectively in teams and autonomously in a fast-paced environmentBonus Points:

oWarmly greet and build rapport with patients through in-person and phone interactionsoAnswer incoming calls promptly and politely; screen calls and take/relay messages as necessaryoVerify patient insurance for outpatient therapy benefits (applicable locations only)oManage incoming physician referrals and prescriptionsoProvide communication on first visit expectations to all new patients oAdvise patients of their financial responsibility (i.
e.
, deductible, co-pay, or co-insurance responsibility per visit)oScan patient insurance cards, ID cards, and all other pertinent paperwork to patient filesoCollect co-pay/deductible payments and provide a receipt with each transactionoBalance daily collection of cash/checks/credit cards at the end of each day; Submit daily charges to Clinic ManageroMaintain a tidy and welcoming appearance of waiting room, office space, and therapy gym; sanitize therapy office/gym per CDC guidelines CORA Physical Therapy is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
