Summary:
Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patients' medical, physical and psychological status, including histories and physical examinations.
Develops treatment plans individualized to the patient's needs.
Records notes in the medical record.
Implements physician directed treatment plans, writes orders for medications, treatments, tests, and provides patient care.
Under the direction of a physician, is able to perform minor procedures for which they can exhibit competencies.
Provides education and training to clinical staff in the offices.
Provides pediatric urgent and primary care.
Performs routine office visits and in-patient pediatric patient rounding.
Coordinates treatment plans with physicians.
Obtains consultations when the diagnosis or management is outside area of expertise.

EDUCATION:
If a Physician Assistant:
Bachelors Degree required; Successful completion of a CAAHEP approved program If a Nurse Practitioner:
Masters or Doctorate Degree in Nursing; Graduate of an approved NLN or equivalent nursing
Experience:
Must have completed an accredited Pediatric, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine Program Must have demonstrated clinical expertise in Pediatric Medicine, Primary Care, or Emergency Medicine Minimum of 3 years work experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is preferred CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

Must have/maintain current SC PA licensure If a Nurse Practitioner:
Current unrestricted SC Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license with Prescriptive Authority required JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Must be able to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues in a fast-paced office environment Must be able to multi-task and handle a variety of issues at one time PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

Perform initial and ongoing assessment of patients medical and psychosocial status Perform physical examinations based on age and history Conduct preventive screening procedures based on age and history Identify medical and health risks and needs, update and record changes in health status Formulate the appropriate differential diagnosis based on history, physical examination and clinical findings Identify the needs of the individual, family, or community as a result of the evaluation of the collected data Order appropriate diagnostic tests Prescribe medications under the guidelines of the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act and/or the South Carolina medical board and the U.

Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Identify non-pharmacologic interventions Develop client education plans Order and interpret diagnostic tests Prescribe new medications (routine and PRN) and/or make medication adjustments as deemed necessary, including Schedule III-V drugs (with Prescriptive Authority) Documentation will be kept of all patient encounters including medical evaluations, diagnoses, procedures, treatment, outcomes, education, referrals, and consultations into the practices designated medical record Evaluation of clinical care will be provided through informal evaluation during consultations and case review; submission of at least 10% of patient records to physicians for review; and annual evaluation by the Supervising Physician Recommended Skills Assessments Certified Nurse Practitioner Clinical Works Communication Emergency Medicine Fine Motor Skills Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
