Position Administrative SupervisorLocation Beaufort Memorial HospitalFull-Time/Part-Time PRNShift NightsExempt/Non-Exempt Non-ExemptDescription In conjunction with the administrative person on call, supervises entire hospital operations in the absence of the BMH President and Vice-President for Patient C are Services.
Provides leadership and supports the hospital philosophy and objectives.
Maintains a safe environment for all hospital personnel, patients and visitors.
Works in collaboration with members of the nursing and medical staff to insure patient continuing care needs are met.
Adjusts nursing staffing to meet the changing census or acuity as appropriate.
Position Requirements Education:
Ability to obtain and maintain a South Carolina Nursing License.
Prefer Baccalaureat or Master's degree.
Experience:
5-10 years clinical experience, including unit manager, charge nurse or department director.
Demonstrated leadership attributes.
Specific knowledge to render care over the life continuum.
Certifications/Licenses:
Current South Carolina RN license.
BLS certification required prior to first clinical shift (must be issued by the American Heart Association).
ACLS certification required.
