Facilities Cleaning Responsibilities (90%) Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms; cleans sinks and toilets, polishes mirrors, and replenishes supplies.
Sweeps, vacuums, mops floors; sweeps sidewalks.
Cleans windows; dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures.
Empty trash cans regularly; collects trash from grounds and cleans trash cans.
Facilities Maintenance Responsibilities (10%) Monitors and repairs/replaces light bulbs, florescent tubes, spot lights, exit lights and other lighting malfunctions.
Assists in unloading and carrying of donations and other Salvation Army materials.
Assembles and moves office furniture including chairs, desks, tables, bulletin boards, etc.
Assists in setting up meeting rooms; sets up tables and chairs; puts ice in glasses and sets out drinks.
Opens/closes building as scheduled; raises and lowers all flags daily; displays special signs as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
