POSITION PURPOSE: To provide support and intervention for students with continuing emotional and /or behavioral problems.

Essential Functions:

  • Consults with teachers, counselors, school social workers and other appropriate personnel concerning the behavioral objectives and goals of students.
  • Assists instructional personnel in the development of behavioral plans.
  • Implements behavioral programs designed to make positive and appropriate changes.
  • Works one-on-one with students to effect behavior changes. Assists instructional personnel as necessary.
  • Works with related agencies to develop an effective program of activities for changing unacceptable behavior of students.
  • Provides information to family or other care providers concerning action of students.
  • Ensures consistency of behavioral standards by coordinating with all appropriate students contacts.
  • Works with school personnel to obtain information and advice on prior behavior problems.
  • Provides information as necessary to teachers and other personnel concerning behavioral concerns.
  • Maintains records on contacts with students, which detail all proposed and completed behavioral objectives.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal, Superintendent or other district office administrator as designated by the Superintendent.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bilingual preferred.

EXPERIENCE:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications, and district identified database program applications.
  • Experience working with at-risk youth.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
