Position Summary
The Special Gifts Coordinator builds and strengthens prorams for major and planned gifts to support Beaufort Memorial Hospital and Beaufort Memorial Foundation. Primary responsibilities include: 1) Coordinate and help execute strategies and actions for major and planned gift development and associated donor recognition and stewardship; 2) Manage board support systems; 3) Manage communication strategy; and 4) Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION
Bachelors'' Degree in relevant field required. Advanced education preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Two to four years in development (healthcare philanthropy preferred) or related.Principles and standards of philanthropy and major gift development, donor data management, donor recognition and stewardship, and other related fundraising practices. Quick, conceptual learner with program planning and monitoring skills. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with board members, community volunteers, and hospital staff. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills required. Raisers Edge and MS office experience preferred. Graphic design and production experience helpful field.

None SpecifiedEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
