Administrative Assistant TMT

This temporary, non-benefited position (up to 24 hours per week)performs a variety of detailed administrative support and technical services to theTransitioning Military Training (TMT) Program Director. Duties to include but not limited to: (1) Assists the Program Director with managing and directing the TMT Program; (2) Assists the Program Director with all program budgets and financial expenditure requests; (3) Manages a database of all program participants; (4) Assists with monitoring program goals by managing student and employer surveys; (5) Compiles program related data and develops required reports; (6) Serves as stand-by proctor for standardized student testing; (7) Serves as receptionist by answering phone calls, emails, etc.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:
Associate degree and two years of experience in aviation maintenance administration; or a high school diploma and four years of experience in aviation maintenance administration. Must possess basic knowledge and experience with database entry and Excel spreadsheet management.

Technical College of the Lowcountry is a public two-year technical college serving four counties in the southern coastal region of South Carolina. The main campus is located in Beaufort in the South Carolina Lowcountry on the coast between the historic cities of Savannah and Charleston and adjacent to the resort area of Hilton Head Island.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
