Network Operations Specialist - Senior Level

Under broad direction, oversee the infrastructure and network operation, responding appropriately to alerts and events. Oversee incident resolution, ensuring appropriate response to escalations. Coordinate infrastructure repairs, including directing remote activities to ensure continuity for service delivery. Review root cause analysis documentation to address performance management and incident correlation issues. Provide data center support where appropriate. Oversee daily shift activities and document in appropriate reporting and ticketing tools and ensure continuity for any outstanding issues. Provide incident notification to Government representatives.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position.
Work is performed in 24/7 environment and must be able to work second/third shifts, weekends, and holidays
Travel:
No travel is expected for this position
Required Education and
Experience:
HS Diploma or GED
10+ years of experience required
Possess at least one of the following certifications in accordance with DoD 8570.1 IAT 3: CISA, GCIH, GCED, CISSP, or CASP
Possess at least one of the following: CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Active and current Secret/SSBI

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
